Jolly Roger Pub Review

Top Grub at the Jolly Roger Pub

A lovely pub, tucked away along priddys hard in Gosport with lovely views across the water to the naval dockyard in portsmouth. The food was top class! We had chosen a quiet evening in the winter months, so had a lovely table sety aside for us by the fire. The staff were warm and welcoming and had a definite passion for the way the food is prepared. The owner, whom we met explained to us how the speciality- fish is cooked fresh each day. It was a good varied menu, without too much choice.

The only down side for me was that the owner did disturb us a little whilst eating, but he was genuinely passionate about the food he creates and wanted to share it with us on a quiet evening. This could be a little off putting for some, but Dean and Mike found his explainations of great interest.
