The Lone Barn: An "off the beaten track" treasure!
An "off the beaten track" treasure! Unfortunately, the main attraction at this restaurant - the open fire place - was under repair, but the food was definitely a welcome distraction! The whole group seemed to enjoy their meals and its definitely one we would like to visit again.
The staff were friendly and efficient and the ambience had a real traditional country pub feel about it. It was a busy evening, despite it being a cold february evening, but it did not affect the service and general peacefulness about this restaurant.
