As December marks Gemma's birthday, she chose to revisit one of the highlights of this years Grubgang meetings and returned to Antonios in Fareham. It was a Little busier this time, which was great to see, and yet again Tony and his wife gave us a wonderfully warm reception.
The food, still is marvellous and Dean was most impressed, with it being his first visit to the restaurant. The specials board offered wonderful fish dishes for 2 of the members........mackerel and another fish apparently from the cod family, to which I cannot remember or find the name of!!
The highlight of the evening was the crepe Suzette, lovingly made by Tony's lovely wife (even if Tony had a little joke of placing a fire extinguisher nearby!!!) We saw another couple enjoying the spectacular show of burning off the brandy and Gemma decided she had to have it!!! It definitely started a trend, as many others followed suit!!!
Welldone Tony and his team.........another wonderful meal and I am sure we visit again in the future!!
