Gemma and her partner Dave (a regular guest member of Grubgang) tried the Black pudding cheese and bacon for a starter, which in Daves words was "Epic!" and the main course of the chicken and bacon stack was literally a stack of chicken, bacon,mushrooms and garlic bread in layers! Not to mention the slab of bread that came free with the starter!!! All the ingrediants used are locally sourced, which we found is a great thing about country pubs in the area.
The facilities are disabled friendly and clean. The staff were freindly and helpful. The decor was fresh and inviting with plenty of space to move around in. The only downside to the meal was the peas...........a little bullet like for Daves liking!! Well worth a visit!
